Learn The History of Harrison Custom Builders
The Harrison family has built many of the finest homes in Denver for more than 60 years. It started when Aubrey and Pauline Harrison began building custom homes in 1955. By the 1960s, the Harrisons had become one of the area's most respected home builders.
Second-Generation Home Builders
In the 1970s, the Harrisons' second generation joined the business, led by Rod and Lynn, together with Lynn's wife, Jennie. Most of the homes built by this generation were in newly developed neighborhoods.
Building More Homes
Lynn led the business throughout the 1980s. Our home construction projects at this time focused on redeveloping the older Cherry Hills Village by designing and building old-world homes that replaced small homes on beautifully treed lots. In addition, the Harrisons achieved a high level of success in the new Glen-moor golf community of Cherry Hills Village by building and developing a large portion of homes in that area.
In the 1990s, Lynn and his wife Pam led the home construction business, and it flourished for several years, developing in other communities like Castle Pines and Highlands Ranch before focusing on building new, old-world homes in Cherry Hills Village.
Only 10 homes in Cherry Hills Village sold for more than $1,000,000 by the end of 1995. Harrison Custom Builders built and sold two of these homes.
Our Company in 2008
Harrison Custom Builders survived the 2008 economic drop even when most of our competitors suffered with speculation home inventory. 2008 also marked the beginning of the third generation, Mikey Rosales. Mikey's vision, ideas, and experience in developing and building large commercial projects and luxury custom homes led us to our strongest run of business to date, taking the Harrison name to the next level.
